This was the December pick for my neighborhood book club. I didn't expect to finish it before the new year, but I flew through it in just a few days. An easy read for sure, with just a little bit of shark jumping that is directly connected to the central plot, so that was disappointing. I did enjoy the character development and the overall construction of the book, even though I could see each plot twist coming from around the corner.
