The Courage of Sarah Noble

This book is about a girl named Sarah Noble. Sarah goes with her father to the Indian country to find land and build a house. They initially find a cave to stay in. She is scared of the forest sounds at night. While her father is building the house, Sarah starts to feel lonely. So she reads the Bible. Some Indian children come to listen to her read. She is scared at first, but then she realizes that they were her friends. Soon, her father has to go to get the rest of their family and he leaves Sarah with an Indian named Tall John, and his family. One day, while playing with the Indian children, her father comes back with her family! My favorite part was the ending when Sarah's father returned. 5 stars.
