The Bears on Hemlock Mountain

This book is about a boy named Jonathan who is sent over the hill to fetch a big iron pot from his Aunt Emma. On the way, he feeds the birds and the squirrels and the rabbits. He arrives at their home and stays for a long time because he thinks there are bears on Hemlock Mountain. On the way home, two bears come. So Jonathan hides under the pot. His father and his uncles come looking for him. He shows his father the bear tracks. Then they all go home. I liked it for the adventure and the courage. 5 stars.
