"I loved this book! It is about a boy named Paul and a girl named Maureen and two horses named Phantom and Misty. On Assateague Island, Paul and Maureen find a wild pack of horses. They see Phantom and want to buy her and domesticate her at pony penning day. They were able to buy Phantom and her colt, Misty. In the end, Phantom is set free, but Misty stays because she hides in the stall and is found shortly after Phantom is set free. My favorite part of the story is when they found Misty in the stall."
